ABNA24 - Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei says that the policy of Iran has always been based on continuing the path of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, and the martyred leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, supporting resistance against the Zionist and American enemy.
Ayatollah Khamenei, in a message to Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, appreciated his sympathy and condolences on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized in this message that steadfastness and resistance against the greatest enemies of the Islamic Ummah, namely the United States of America and the Zionist regime, are among the most prominent characteristics of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.
He also emphasized the continuation of the path of resistance throughout his years of leadership, with the sacrifice of esteemed martyrs like Martyr Qassem Soleimani and other great commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and Army, as a testament to the sincerity of this path.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the history of Islamic resistance is full of struggle, courage, and self-sacrifice, where the commanders of resistance sacrificed their lives in defense of the Islamic Ummah without fear of any threat.
He added that the commanders of Hezbollah, from Martyr Sheikh Ragheb Harb and Sayyed Abbas al-Musawi to Hassan Nasrallah, former secretary-general of Hezbollah, and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, are true examples of this path and unwavering approach.
He addressed the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, stating that he leads this movement at this sensitive juncture of the history of resistance, and expressed confidence that his wisdom, insight, and courage will foil the plans of the Zionist enemy and bring pride, honor, and comfort back to the people of Lebanon.
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded his message by emphasizing that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been based on continuing the path of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the martyred leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, supporting resistance against the Zionist and American enemy.
He wished success to all the mujahid brothers in his message.
